Yerevan marks 80th birth anniversary of Khoren Abrahamyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - People, capable of forming mentalities of generations with their work, live beyond their time. To Armenian people, famous actor Khoren Abrahamyan is one of those persons. Today, Khoren Abrahamyan’s family, colleagues, friends and admirers mark 80th birth anniversary of the actor.

A native of Yerevan, Khoren Abrahamyan (born April 1, 1930) graduated from the Acting Department of Yerevan Fine Arts and Theater Institute. He held many leading roles in theater productions and cinema–and later became a director, with over 30 films to his credit, including "The Song of the First Love, "The Saroyan Brothers," and "We and Our Mountains."

He was the executive director of the Sundukyan Drama Theater until his death on December 10, 2004.
