Armenian, Turkish cinematographers to shoot joint films

PanARMENIAN.Net - Golden Apricot International Film Festival and Anadolu Kultur Turkish organization have initiated a joint program envisaging shooting of documentaries and short films.

“Applications were received from young filmmakers, who are interested in establishment of dialogue with Turkish colleagues. Proposals are under discussions. The best will be financed by the U.S. Embassy to Armenia,” Artsvik Bakhchiyan, GAIFF program coordinator told journalists.

He also noted that Armenian cinematographers will collaborate with those Turkish filmmakers who do not deny the Armenian Genocide.
