Sona Shahgeldyan believes her diligence helped her win New Wave contest

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sona Shahgeldyan believes that her diligence helped her win New Wave contest.

“Even if I were the second I would say it was a fair competition,” she told a news conference on August 10.

“I will spend a part of my award to assist animal protection organizations but I have not decided on the amount yet,” Shahgeldyan said.

Sharing impressions about the contest, she said she was confident of a good performance. “I am grateful to my family and the Armenian community of Latvia, specifically to the prior of Grigor the Illuminator Church in Jurmala, where I prayed,” she said

Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter whether she knew about the performance of duduk player Jivan Gasparyan, she said it was a surprise.
