Nazaret Karoyan: Armenian art works not presented properly

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pioneer attempts to break stereotypes were made in Armenia in 1970ies, said Vardan Azatyan, director of the Armenian pavilion at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale to take place in 2011.

“Armenian art workers participated in numerous events and projects during the past 10-15 years,” he told reporters in Yerevan.

Another director, Nazaret Karoyan, said for his part that the problem is that Armenian art works not presented properly.

“Our goal is to present the works not only to professionals but also to the public,” he said.
