GAIFF films to be screened in JavakhkOctober 1, 2010 - 16:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Golden Apricot festival Harutyun Khachatryan said that the festival successfully implements the Film Festival on Wheels program launched earlier. As part of it, the post-festival program of Golden Apricot will reach the remotest regions of Armenia, as well as Artsakh and Javakhk, Khachatryan told a press conference on October 1. According to him, the Film Festival on Wheels has already kicked off in Berd town of Tavush region. In November, the festival will be organized in Artsakh and Javakhk with screening of the best films of 2010 Golden Apricot. Harutyun Khachatryan added that from now on Javakhk will be screening new films sent from Armenia every 10-15 days. Besides, cinemas of the region will be provided with a special equipment to screen the films. According to Khachatryan, the program also aims to raise awareness of filmmakers from the Armenian Diaspora.
