RA Culture Minister invites her Syrian counterpart to visit ArmeniaNovember 10, 2010 - 16:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 9, Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan met with the newly-appointed Syrian Minister of Culture Riad Ismat to discuss perspectives of Armenia-Syria cultural cooperation. The necessity of extending the term of Practical Program of Armenia-Syria Cultural Cooperation was stressed. The Syrian Minister expressed a wish to visit Armenia to sign a document on program extension. A preliminary agreement was reached to host the Days of Syrian Culture in Armenia in May 2011. In conclusion, the Ambassador conveyed the invitation of Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan to visit Armenia to Mr. Ismat, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
