Armenia needs to present its culture at international level

PanARMENIAN.Net - Commenting on the inclusion of Armenian khachkars in UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list, Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan said that Armenians’ confidence in their origin and cultural values is insufficient.

“We need to present all elements of our culture at an international level and prove that they belong to us. With this, we will be able to protect our cultural values,” Poghosyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

The inclusion of Armenian khachkars in UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list secures certain protection to them, the Minister said.
