Yerevan to host jubilee concert of Armenian tenor Vahan Mirakian

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 27, Yerevan will host charitable concert of famous Armenian tenor Vahan Mirakian.

The concert is dedicated to the singer’s 75th birth anniversary, Vice President of Vahan Mirakian Foundation Marika Avetisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“Mirakian has never rejected participation in charitable concerts and always tried to assist those in need, thus he decided to make his jubilee concert a charitable one,” Avetisyan said.

According to her, all the proceeds from the concert will be directed for treatment of sick children from Armenia and Artsakh.

The concert program will include Armenian, Russian and Neapolitan songs, as well as romances.

Avetisyan added that the concert will be organized through the assistance of the UN office in Yerevan, RA Ministry of Culture, National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry and Vahan Mirakian Foundation.
