Attendees assist PanARMENIAN Photo in selecting photos for big exhibitFebruary 27, 2011 - 15:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - PanARMENIAN Photo exhibit opened in Bureaucrat bookstore in Yerevan on Feb 26. The event brought together people of art, photographers and photography lovers. Photographer of PanARMENIAN Photo Sedrak Mkrtchyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the exhibit is a kind of report of the photo agency two-year activity. "The exhibit features photos from various events, special projects, the number of which reaches 30, as well as portraits of famous and prominent people," said Mkrtchyan. Head of the photo agency Vahan Stepanyan said that they had the idea of organizing a big exhibit long ago, but the idea of this interim exhibit-report came suddenly. "The idea of organizing an exhibit in Bureaucrat came to me, when I was involved in organization of photographer David Galstyan's exhibit, which was held here early in February. We decided to feature several hundreds of photos to allow attendees to assist us in selecting photos for a big exhibit and separate catalogue. Public opinion is important for us, though we have favorite photos," concluded Vahan Stepanyan.
