Yerevan Perspectives Festival to host 15 world famous musiciansMarch 16, 2011 - 14:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In September, Yerevan will launch the 5th annual Yerevan Perspectives Festival, the art director and chief conductor at Armenia’s State Philharmonic Orchestra (SPO) stated. As Eduard Topchjan told a news conference in Yerevan, the festival will feature joint performance of the SPO with 15 world-famous soloists, including German violinist Julia Fischer, Russian concert pianist Konstantin Lifschitz, French clarinettist Paul Meyer. The SPO is celebrating its 85th jubilee in 2011. In 2010-2011, the Orchestra gave 35 concerts in Yerevan, also touring over Germany and Slovakia. For the second consecutive year, the Orchestra is sponsored by VivaCell-MTS company.
