At least 3 websites passing off as Armenian sources have been revealed over the past years.

Armenianreport website, allegedly analytical and disclosing, appeared on the net in fall 2010. The website contained “unmasking materials” on behalf of certain reporters with Armenian names.

Armenia not ready to use switch to energy-saving light bulbs

The European Union has started considering the project on repealing the introduced ban on incandescent light bulbs.

Armenia is considering possibility to use energy-saving light bulbs. Pilot programs are being implemented. However, the Armenian market is not large enough to establish a plant for energy-saving light bulbs production. Besides, forcing the population to use such bulbs only is not a solution.

It’s too difficult to speak the same language with Turkey and Azerbaijan, as these countries lay down absolutely unacceptable conditions in the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Accidentally or not, after the visit of senior American diplomats in the person of James B. Steinberg and Philip Gordon, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan decided to leave for Saint Petersburg to meet with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. You don’t have to be a prophet to understand that visits of the American diplomats are linked to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, or rather, to its prevention from entering a military phase.

Football: Armenia dropped 2 places in FIFA world ranking, appearing 62nd in the list with 512 points. Armenia’s rivals in European Championship Group stage are listed as follows: Russia climbed to 12th position, Slovakia retained 20th position; Ireland came 35th; Andorra - 202nd. Top three are Spain, Netherlands and Germany with 1887, 1723 and 1485 points respectively.
