G8 Calls to Modernize ANPP

PanARMENIAN.Net - The G8 members called upon Armenia to allocate funds and implement measures for modernization and secure operation of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant. Armenia is offered to undertake measures until the ANPP can be stopped and put out of operation. "We take into account the measures Armenia has already taken in this direction," the report says.



The authors of the report call on Armenia to prepare and implement multisided program for raising the level of the ANPP safety, ensure the proper number of employees and render them the essential level of authority essential for efficacious performance of duties in accordance with international standards, reported Rosbalt.
