Iran-Armenia oil pipeline construction to start in 2009March 7, 2009 - 21:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Construction of Tabriz (Iran)-Yeraskh (Armenia) oil pipeline, which will pump oil products from a refinery in Tabriz to Armenia, will start in 2009, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources said."The oil pipeline will first of all satisfy Armenia's needs, including strengthening of energy security of the republic, reduction of transport expenses and establishment of competitive market prices," Armen Movsisyan told journalists today. Earlier, Minister Movsisyan stated that the construction will presumably cost $200-240 mln. The passing-pipe size is 250 mm and length is 300 km. The market average rate of USD totaled AMD 388,37 on Feb 8, increasing by 0.26 point compared to Feb 7. In 2012 Gazprombank OAO plans to boost charter capital of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC by USD 10 mln. Nokia also moved its Asia Pacific headquarters from Singapore to China in order to reduce costs and improve its efficiency. Sergei Kiriyenko briefed President Sargsyan on his visit to Metsamor NPP, during which he familiarized himself with its operation. |
