Belarus views possibility of opening Armenian-Belarusian chamber of commerce in Minsk

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian-Belarusian chamber of commerce – ArBe – will open in Yerevan on September 30, as part of the 8th sitting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

“It will become a platform to strengthen our ties,” Belarusian Minister of Trade Valentin Chekanov said during the September 28 joint press conference with Armenia’s Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan in Yerevan.

He expressed hope that a similar chamber of commerce will be established in Minsk as well.

Referring to bilateral cooperation, Chekanov said that Belarus is interested in import of Armenian alcoholic beverages and fruits.
