Astrid Clifford: Armenian government should stabilize investment environment

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Armenia, Ms. Astrid Clifford said that the bank’s corporate loans amounted to $100 million in 2010.

“Entrepreneurs want to invest and expand their business. It is certainly a positive tendency, but the Armenian government should take action to stabilize the investment environment,” she said when responding to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question.

According to Ms. Clifford, Armenia should work out a more precise tax and customs policy to attract foreign investors and prevent withdrawal of local investors from the national market.
