Estonia to facilitate implementation of Armenia’s regional transport programsDecember 6, 2010 - 16:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 6, Armenian Minister of Transport Manuk Vardanyan received Estonian Ambassador to Armenia Thomas Luk. At the Ambassador’s request, programs implemented in the transport industry, specifically joint programs with the European Commission, were presented. The Minister said that cooperation is implemented within Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) program. Moreover, at a TRACECA investment forum held in October 2010 in Brussels, Armenia presented priority programs, including North-South transport corridor, which is of regional importance. Minister Vardanyan expressed willingness to discuss possible ways of cooperation in the transport and communication field with Estonian stakeholders. Luk noted for his part that he is ready to facilitate implementation of regional programs.
