Yerevan hosts conference on Teghut copper-molybdenum deposit exploitation issuesDecember 14, 2010 - 19:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 14, Yerevan hosted a conference focusing on the issues of copper-molybdenum deposit exploitation in Teghut. As Armenian Copper Program executive director Gagik Arzumanyan stated at the conference, the deposit exploitation enabled provision of jobs for 81 people, who previously had to leave the country in search of employment. As he stressed, 357 hectares of woods will be restored in the nearest future. Arzumanyan also assured the conference participants that minimal damage will be inflicted on the environment and water in the region.
