Armenia registered 3.1% growth in brandy production in Jan-Feb 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 1,755.1thous. liters of brandy were produced in Armenia in January-February 2011, what is 3.1% higher compared to the same period in 2010.

According to the national Statistical Service, production of vodka dropped by 22.8% to total 514thous. liters during the reported period.

448.9thous. liters of wine were produced in January-February 2011 against 570.1thous. liters in 2010 (21.3% drop). 858thous. liters of beer were produced in January-February 2011 against 956.9thous. liters during the same period in 2010 (10.3% drop). 7.1% drop was recorded in sparkling wine production to reach 3,820.9thous. liters in 2011.

0.4% increase was recorded in soft drinks production in 2011, reaching 3,820.9thous. liters.
