French TV airs documentary on Armenian Khatchkars

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 1, France 2 TV channel aired Khatchkars: Spirit and Inspiration of Armenian People documentary from Chretiens Orienteaux (Eastern Christians) film series.

The authors of the film called special attention to the Khatchkars of Nakhijevan-based ancient Armenian cemetery demolished by Azeri vandals.

French historians and art experts participated in the documentary’s filming in summer 2012.

A screening of another film, Origins of Armenian Church and History of Early Ages has been scheduled for December 30.
