European Parliament hosting conference on Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Parliament is hosting a conference, titled “Legal and political aspects of recognition of Armenian Genocide and restoration of cultural heritage,” spokesman of European Armenian Federation Bedo Demirdjian said.

“Besides the recognition, the event seeks to raise the imperative of restitutions,” Demirdjian said, according to Aysor.am.

“We are starting the process at the European Parliament.”

Human rights barrister Geoffrey Robertson, expert on international law Ove Bring, human rights lawyer of Turkish descent Cem Sofuoglu and others participate in the conference.
