Orange offers innovative job application tool

PanARMENIAN.Net - For all those interested in job or internship opportunities at Orange, the company proposes to apply online, using the first online application system in Armenia.

Starting from now, the applicants can not only fill in their CV on the job.orangearmenia.am website for a current or future vacancy or an internship, but also update their personal information and follow the application and the interview history through a personal account.

“In one year, we offered a lot of innovations to our customers, and now we wish to apply our approach as an innovation leader in other domains as well, in particular for work and employment. Thanks to this tool, applicants can not only apply for a job at Orange without moving, but also benefit from the possibilities offered by Orange as an international company, because they can apply for a job or an internship at our mother company, France Telecom Group as well,” Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO commented.

Despite the fact that the Orange team is essentially formed and the stage of massive recruitment is finished, the company regularly announces vacancies. Orange continues to receive a big number of CVs, which usually reach the Human Resources in a not correct and coordinated way. Starting from now, every candidate, studying the structure of the company, can find the job interesting for him/her and apply for a particular position.

Marine Aznauryan, Orange Armenia HR Manager said: “It is not obligatory that the position interesting for the applicant can be vacant at that moment. The intersted person can apply for a non-vacant position and regularly update his/her personal data online. The interface is very simple and even funny and makes the visitor feel the spirit and the style of Orange. This also helps us to avoid useless waste of paper.”

The system has been functioning in test mode already since October, 2010. In two months Orange has received approximately 1500 applications through the online tool, which are already included in the database of the company.
