Sedrak Mkrtchyan: “Twitter revolution” scheme will be used in Armenia one day

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian blogger Sedrak Mkrtchyan supposes that the scheme of “Twitter revolutions” applied in Tunisia and Egypt will be used in Armenia sooner or later.

“The same social networks, the same methods and slogans will be used,” Mkrtchyan said in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

There are protest moods in all countries, including the developed ones. The events in Egypt proved the existence of a detailed scheme aimed to organize revolutions and change rulers, according to him.

However, the blogger disagreed with the opinion that social networks were designed in the U.S. for undermining activities in other countries, although he admitted that Twitter and Facebook are definitely engaged in the U.S. foreign policy deals.

As to the internet cutoff, he noted that the Egyptian authorities had better try to take control over the social networks to make their information more convincing than demands of the crowd.
