Saw II director’s “Mother’s Day” trailer revealed (video)  March 27, 2012 - 21:37 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - A new trailer for director Darren Lynn Bousman’s remake of the 1980 horror film Mother’s Day has gone online, Collider said. The film stars Rebecca De Mornay as a crazytimes mother who helps her three fugitive sons take care of a few unwanted houseguests. Bousman is best known as the director behind Saw II, III and IV, but his previous directorial effort, 11-11-11, came and went with barely a whimper. Mother’s Day looks to place him back in Saw-esque territory, and it appears to be a fairly effective horror/thriller. The movie was filmed back in 2009 and screened at Fantastic Fest 2010. The film also stars Jaime King, Deborah Ann Woll, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Shawn Ashmore and Matt O’Leary. Mother’s Day hits theaters for a limited engagement on May 4, with a Blu-ray/DVD release to follow on May 8.
