Opposition leader meets U.S. ambassador

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), former president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrossian met with U.S. ambassador to RA John Heffern.

ANC chief office coordinator Levon Zurabyan was also attending.

The parties discussed issues related to the legal process of the upcoming parliamentary elections. Armenia’s domestic political developments and social-economic situation were also on the agenda.

Sarkissian hosted the ambassador in the presidential palace and discussed the situation created by the coronavirus.
"We are aware of the assessment of those elections by the international observers," Anna Naghdalyan said.
Pashinyan said the Armenians used to live in Baku for centuries, "giving the city a genuine trait of multiculturalism."
Marina Ohanjanyan, spokeswoman for the Investigative Service, confirmed the news to PanARMENIAN.Net.
