Karen Grigoryan shares 1-5 places at Dubai Chess Open

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the second round of Dubai Open Chess Championship, Vladimir Akopian scored a win over Sofiko Khukhashvili (Georgia), Tigran L. Petrosian beat Yusup Atabaev (Turkmenistan), and Zaven Andriasian gained a victory over Othman Moussa (UAE).

Karen Grigoryan won Marina Makropoulou (Greece), while Avetik Grigoryan tied a game vs. Farhan Mohannad (Jordan). Robert Hovhannisyan was the only Armenian representative to have lost to Maria Sergeeva.

In the third round Grigoryan beat Akopian, Petrosian lost to Narayan Gopal (India). With 3 points, Grigoryan shares 1-5 places.
