PanARMENIAN.Net - The most promising chamber music students studying at University of North Texas College of Music perform their annual spring concert this weekend, dentonrc.com reports.

The UNT Center for Chamber Music Studies provides training to the best and brightest students in the college.

George Papich, a professor of music and the coordinator of chamber music at UNT, brings the center’s ensembles to Voertman Hall inside the UNT College of Music on Friday, April 20.

The spring concert, Papich said, runs along nationalistic lines. Students will perform Canzona per Sonare, by Giovanni Gabrieli; Quintette en Forme de Choros by Heitor Villa-Lobos, a South American; String Quartet No. 6 by Bela Bartok; Sonatine by French composer Eugene Bozza; and Piano Trio in F sharp minor by Armenian composer Arno Babajianian.
