Italian Senate: Armenian Genocide denial is inadmissible

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 24, Italian Senate representatives, namely chairman Vannino Chiti, Senators Albertina Soliani, Francesco Pardi and Laura Allegrini honored the memory of Armenian Genocide victims, noting the denial of the fact of genocide as inadmissible. Laura Allegrini said that Armenia’s geographical position and the unresolved Nagorno Karabakh conflict keep Yerevan in tension, which attaches great importance to democracy.

Under the auspices of Armenian Embassy in Italy, different Italian cities hosted commemorate events dedicated to the 97th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
