Search dogs secure Sargsyan’s campaign meeting - paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) visited Armenia’s Talin, Aragatsavan, Maralik, Artik, Gyumri and other settlements on May 1 for their election campaign.

At the same time, according to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, the community of Azatan hosted an unexpected meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan.

The local residents told the paper that prior to Armenian President’s visit, Azatan village was totally inspected with the help of explosive search dogs.

Besides, the paper quotes Artik residents as saying that residents of houses adjacent to the central square which hosted the President were banned from opening their windows during Sargsyan's visit.
