LONDON CITY HALL BUILDING BELONGS TO AN ARMENIAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - The owner of the building of the London City Hall is Armenian billionaire Tigran Izmirlian, 77, living in Switzerland. As the Sunday Times reported this week, the London City Hall has rented the building for the term of 25 years from a company, of which Izmirlian holds the control stock. According to the source, in 1990 the Izmirlians established a foundation, which funded the building of the library of Yerevan State University, as well as various blocks of the Military Academy of Armenia and those in Holy Echmiadsin. Besides, in 1999 the foundation provided $3 million to Eurasia Foundation - in order to contribute to development of small and medium business in Armenia.
