New parliament will first meet on May 31, paper says

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak paper, the first session of the parliament of the 5th convocation will most likely be held on May 31, if Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission publishes final voting results on May 10.

According to National Assembly regulations, the first meeting must take place on the 3rd Thursday following the publication, paper reports.

This meeting will mark the end of powers of the previous convocation parliament, Hraparak says.
