  RPA rep. offered post of Shirak administration head instead of Gyumri Mayor May 17, 2012 - 12:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak daily, the owner of Sovrano Ltd Arman Sahakyan, defeated at parliamentary elections in Gyumri constituency, was offered a position of the head of Shirak province administration instead of Gyumri Mayor post. Sahakyan, however, refused the offer, citing poverty and social issues in the province as a reason. With Shirak province the 2nd for number of Prosperous Armenia party supporters, the head of administration, a Republican Party of Armenia member would always be surrounded by rivals, the daily believes.
