Parliamentary group leaders determined, paper says

Thus, the vice president of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Galust Sahakyan will retain his post. Though Prosperous Armenia faction is headed by party leader Gagik Tsarukyan, it will be factually led by Vartan Oskanian. Heghine Bisharyan will assume the post of Orinats Yerkir parliamentary group leader. Stepan Demirchyan stands against Levon Zurabyan’s becoming Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction head, the paper claims.

Heritage president Raffi Hovannissian wants Ruben Hakobyan to take over party’s faction leadership, with Free Democrats leader Khachatur Kokobelyan opposing it. There has been no final decision taken regarding the position of ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group leadership, the daily says.
