Dwelling on Heritage leader Raffi Hovannissian’s statement, which said he personally prefers “a single, alternative candidate”, Mr. Martirosyan said that it doesn’t imply the party head’s refusal to participate in the presidential race. He noted that the party hasn’t taken a final decision, stressing the need to “consider Hovannissian’s wish.” The party member said that the issue of Hovannissian’s candidacy will be determined later, most probably in fall.
