PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Akopian beat Saleh Salem in the 8th round of 1st Grand Europe Chess Open Tournaments in Golden Sands in Bulgaria.

Avetik Grigoryan scored a win over Daniel Naroditsky.

Hrant Melkumyan and Tigran L. Petrosian tied games vs. Solak Dragan and Karen Grigoryan respectively.

With 6 points each, Grigoryan, Melkumyan and Akopian are only 0,5 point behind the tournament leaders. Petrosian and Grigoryan have 5,5 points each.
