David Nalbandian slams ATP after disqualification from Queen’s ClubJune 19, 2012 - 11:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Argentina-based David Nalbandian criticized Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) following the disqualification from Queen’s Club. “Everybody makes mistakes. When somebody else makes a mistake, they have to pay the same way, but the players don't feel that happens much, especially with ATP. At the beginning of the years, you have to sign a document, approving whatever ATP says. Otherwise, you will be banned from ATP tournaments,” the player said. The 30-year-old was defaulted from the Queen’s final for angrily kicking an advertising board at a line judge, which left the official suffering a gashed and bloodied leg. “Sometimes ATP exerts much pressure on the players, and sometimes you get injured because you play on dangerous surface and nothing happens. I don't know if I will get in trouble. I don't really mind. This is what I thought and what many players think,” Nalbandian’s official fan blog quoted him as saying. Prior to that, the player issued an apology for what he did. Top stories Armenian gymnast, Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan has reached the finals of the World Cup.
