Annan believes Iran has key role in Syria conflict resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - The UN-Arab League Special Envoy on Syria, Kofi Annan, said Iran has key role in finding a solution to the crisis in Syria, Fars News Agency reports.

"I have come to the region to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis," Annan said during a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran on Tuesday, July 10.

"I am seeking Iran's support and cooperation with my efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully," Annan said.
