The Bourne action spy film is the fourth installment in the eponymous Bourne film series, which is based on Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne novels. It is directed by Tony Gilroy, screenwriter of the first three films. The film is named after, but not based on, The Bourne Legacy, a later Bourne novel written by Eric Van Lustbader. The film stars Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac. The pic opens August 10.
