Parliament vice-speaker to lead observer mission at NKR presidential polls![]() July 17, 2012 - 15:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 18, Armenian parliament delegation will travel to Nagorno Karabakh as a part of an observer mission to monitor July 19 parliamentary poll in the Republic. The delegation will be led by parliament vice speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, National Assembly press service reported. 3 candidates to run for NKR presidency are: current leader Bako Sahakyan; NKR MP, ex-deputy defense minister Vitaly Balasanyan; Armenian State Agrarian University’s Stepanakert Subsidiary pro-rector Arkady Soghomonyan. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
