The award named after photojournalist Ruben Mangasarian, who untimely passed away, was handed by his brother, Tigran Mangasarian, Director of Patker photo agency. Karlen Qalashian got a special award for expressing his civic position through active cooperation with media. ARMNEWS TV company was awarded for successful rebranding. RADIO YEREVAN FM-102.0 received the award for effective combination of news/talk and music formats. The Award was established in 1998 and is conferred to best journalists, media and journalistic organizations of Armenia.
