On July 19, a newly-appointed German Ambassador Reiner Morell presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Having congratulated the envoy on his post, Sargsyan hailed dynamic development in Armenia-Germany relations. The envoy, in turn, gave high assessment to Armenia-Germany ties, pledging to contribute to fuller realization of their potential. The parties went on to discuss Yerevan-Berlin cooperation in EU’s Eastern Partnership program framework, development of trade and economic ties, also dwelling on some regional issues, presidential press service reported.
