French action maestro Luc Besson ("The Professional") is directing the film, which centers on a notorious mafia family who gets relocated to Normandy under the witness protection program. Despite the bucolic European setting, they quickly find it is difficult to abandon their old way of handling problems. Think of it as "Lilyhammer" with an ocean view. The script was adapted by Besson from the book "Badfellas" by Tonino Benacquista. Production is set to start this summer and the film will be released 2013.
