Armenia posts 7,1% imports drop in June

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $462.2 mln (AMD 191.1 bn) in June 2012 increasing by 5% compared to the same period in 2011, according to updated statistical data.

Export amounted to $122.8 mln (AMD 50,6 bn) in June 2012, increasing by 0,5% on a monthly basis, while imports grew 4,6% in June 2012 against the same period in 2011, bringing it to $339.9 mln (AMD 140,5 bn), the RA National Statistical Service reported.

The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $1333,3 mln (AMD 526,5 bn) in January-June 2012, as compared with the same period in 2011.
