PanARMENIAN.Net - On Friday, July 20 Armenian jeweler Andranik Ardzvaljyan was killed in Damascus under unclarified circumstances, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told PanARMENIAN.Net

Fighting has flared across Syria this week, as battles have ravaged Damascus neighbourhoods.

More than 170 people were killed across Syria on June 20, including about 50 in Damascus where large numbers of Armenians are still located.
