Andy Serkis to reprise role as Gollum in “The Hobbit” films (video)  July 26, 2012 - 21:48 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Andy Serkis reprises his Lord of the Rings role as Gollum in the upcoming films, which also star Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage and returning cast members Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood and Hugo Weaving, Digital Spy said. Serkis recently discussed his return to the role, explaining that Gollum "had never really left him". It was reported this week that The Hobbit may become a trilogy, with the second film There and Back Again split into two parts. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released on December 14.
