The upcoming film tells the story of a divorced man (New Year's Eve star Robert De Niro) who pretends that he is still married to his ex-wife (Diane Keaton) for a family wedding between their adopted son (Ben Barnes) and his fiancée (Amanda Seyfried). The Big Wedding, which is written and directed by Justin Zackham, also features Susan Sarandon, Katherine Heigl, Topher Grace and Robin Wiliams. Sarandon previously praised her co-star De Niro when talking about a scene in the movie where his character proposes in the presence of a priest (Williams). She shared: "When you think of [De Niro], you generally think of these tough guys like Raging Bull or Taxi Driver... This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
