 Big staff reductions recorded in Armenian Defense Ministry, paper says August 2, 2012 - 11:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhamanak paper, big staff reductions have been recorded in Armenian Defense Ministry. By Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s decree general Sergei Chalyan, general staff deputy head, lieutenant general Valeri Grigoryan, as well as head of the ministry’s organizational and mobilization department Arakel Martikyan have been relieved of their posts, the paper says. Ministry’s spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan neither confirmed, nor denied the information, saying “You will be informed, once a formal decree is issued.”   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
