European champion: all Armenian athletes have chance for Olympic win

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian athletes have chances to win Olympic medals, European champion and Freestyle Wrestling World Cup bronze medal winner Martin Berberyan said.

“Unfortunately, up until now our team has shown unsuccessful performance. However, I believe, Armenia will finally grab a medal. All the seven athletes are in good shape and have real chances for a victory. I wish them all success,” Berberyan said in conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

2008 Summer Olympics participant currently works in the U.S. as a trainer, cooperating with America’s national team.

“I’m leaving for London in three days to support my friends at Olympic tournaments,” he said.

Armenian wrestlers will start competing on August 2, with Greco-Roman wrestler Arsen Julfalakyan to perform first.
