Google plans to include Gmail messages in search resultsAugust 9, 2012 - 20:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google has revealed that it plans to incorporate emails into search query results, Digital Spy said. The new feature will integrate with a user's Gmail account, showing a new results box to the right of web search results. The Gmail results box will state whether emails relevant to the search query were found, with the option to expand the box and view all messages. "Sometimes the best answer to your question isn't available on the public web - it may be contained somewhere else, such as in your email. We think you shouldn't have to be your own mini-search engine to find the most useful information," Google said in a blog post. Google search will also use inbox information in more specialized ways. The example was given that searching for "my flights" would return a list of recent and upcoming flight details pulled from airline email confirmations. The feature is currently in beta, with Google accepting users to test the new search capabilities.
