5th All-Armenian Educational Conference to have 150 participantsAugust 10, 2012 - 14:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, on August 10, Yerevan hosted the opening ceremony of the 5th All-Armenian Educational Conference. The event has brought together about 150 participants from 25 countries, including student council members, representatives of Diaspora educational organizations, and headmasters of Armenian educational centers in Diaspora. The steps taken in bringing 2010 conference resolution into action, as well as methodical issues will be on conference agenda. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan were present at the event, both stressing Armenian identity maintenance as a nationwide issue. Partner news Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin hosted a meeting of the organizing committee of the Armenian Genocide 100th anniversary events. Earlier, ArmRosgasprom CJSC addressed Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission with an offer to reconsider natural gas price. Armenian defense ministry’s spokesman described the maneuvers as ordinary exercises conducted several times a year.
