Defense Ministry denies Azeri remarks on increased number of Armenian snipers![]() August 10, 2012 - 16:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister’s spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan denied Azeri publications on increased number of Armenian snipers on border. In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Mr. Hovhannisyan noted Azeri act as a way to divert attention from own snipers’ activities. It’s noteworthy that Azerbaijan refuses to withdraw snipers from the frontline, despite Armenian and international community calls. Vahan Hovhannisyan voiced hope that the ruling authorities acknowledge the difficulties Armenia currently faces.
